Tigers clinch the top spot in the Bay State Division with a resounding victory over the Mariners. The Tigers jumped out early with 3 runs in the first and never looked back as 3 Tigers had multi-hit games including a 2-hit effort from Long in the leadoff spot and Gibby in the 9-hole, as well as another solid performance from Pollard providing the first and GW RBI. Murphy had a shot at an "inside-the-park" HR with a blast to right, but was running on fumes as he was cut down at home on a 8-4-3-2 putout. Wlodarczyk continued his Cy-worthy season going right after the Mariners, allowing just one runner to reach 3rd and keeping everyone involved.
