Tigers manage a victory thanks to some clutch hitting from Pane and JP in the top of the 7th. Pane knocked in the go-ahead run with a bloop to left after a Giblin walk-SB-balk put him on 3rd, then JP followed with a laser-beam to right, plating Wilson with what turned out to be the GW RBI after JW had worked a walk in his pinch-hit AB. Griffiths battled his way through a shaky start, leaving the game with a chance at a W, but the Rangers were able to scrap together a run on a bloop to right to tie it in the 5th. Copson shut them down after that, and Riordan came in to close it, making it interesting as usual... JP (4-4, 2 2B, 2R, 2RBI) and Pane (2-4, 3B, R, RBI) were the offensive stars for the Tigers as they stay undefeated in the early season thanks to a total team effort.
