Rich Wlodarczyk shuts out the O's, throwing a perfect game through 5.1 innings until consecutive hits by Thomas and Fudeman ended his bid. Wlodarczyk still managed to throw a complete game shutout allowing just 2 hits to go with his 12 K's, six of his innings coming in 1-2-3 fashion. With two outs in the 1st, The Tigers put two runs on the board early. Pollard drew a walk and Murphy was then hit by a pitch. After a wild pitch advanced both runners, Morgan fisted a blooper to the right side which tipped off the 1B's glove, abling Pollard and Murphy to score. The only other Tiger run was scored in the 4th on an infield hit by Field who was 2-2 on the night. The Tigers also played great D with several web gems coming from Feliciano, Pollard and Pane. Brennan took the complete game loss for the O's and pitched well in defeat.
