Thu, 7 June, 7:30PM, at Waltham - Nipper
Waltham Red Sox 15, Medford Mets 7
The story of 2 seperate games. Teams combine for 22 runs, 27 hits and an ugly 9 errors.
Mets jump out to an early 6-2 lead off Dana Levensaler with a handful or seeing-eye singles and tough at-bats and Waltham makes a number of physical and mental mistakes and can't seem to do anything right or get a break.
Mark Andolina great in relief for Waltham and they eventually tie it at 6 in the 5th inning. In the 6th, Waltham's luck would change with a handful of their own Texas Leaguers and some Medford miscues as an amazing 9 hitters in a row would score to seal the game. |
