Dexter scattered four hits and two walks, striking out two; Pina allowed just a single and a walk while striking out four to pick up the save. In the first, Josh Hale singled, advanced to second on a passed ball, stole third and scored on Mark Bowles's sac fly. In the third, Dexter led off with a bloop double, moved to third on a grounder and scored on Brian Greene's single. Tim Fortune was the tough-luck loser for the Mets, allowing five hits, 1 earned run and no walks over the complete game and striking out five.
