The Chancellor Neil Doherty needed only one sock and 71 pitches to dispatch the A's at scenic Clifford Field Sunday morning. Doherty went the distance in this one, scattering eight hits and walking none, and all three runs allowed were unearned. Offensively, the Fish got all they needed with a four-run third when Andy Katz (2-3, 2 R, 2 SB) got things started with a single and a couple stolen bases, including a steal of home. All-Star Davin Wilfrid (2-3) added an RBI double to deep left and Al Becker chipped in with a two-out single to drive home Kit Kadlec. In what was likely the culmination of a great Boston Baseball League career, Chris Ryan walked twice and stole third while playing his usual solid defense at first base. For the A's, Josh Misiph continued to scorch the ball with a single and double in three trips for the day.
