The White Sox jumped out to 2-0 with their second straight victory. Brian Houlding (1-0) pitched 5 strong innings for the victory, while rookie Matt LoPresti pitched the final two scoreless frames. Offensively, for the second straight game, the Sox jumped out to a quick lead in the 1st inning, highlighted by a Will Bissonnette RBI double, and RBI singles by Ivan Clemente and Scott Reinold. Bissonnette also had the webgem of the day, a diving grab at short and still able to toss the ball to second for the out.
