And Al Wiesner and Earl Murphy were each HBP exactly twice, a feat no ther MABL player had done all season.

White Sox 2, South Coast Bluefish 0

 Summary | Box Score
Final 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 R H E
South Coast Bluefish 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 5 2
White Sox 0 0 0 1 0 1 x 2 5 1

The White Sox won their 30th straight game in which they scored more than 1 run.

Eamonn Mcdonough tossed his 5th consecutive shutout in games started (MABL/2 & Yawkey/3). He also notched his 100th career strikeout as a member of the Sox.

In the first inning, Al Wiesner led off with a single. Knowing early it would be a low-scoring affair, Mike McInnis bunted Al to second. But after a strikeout, Al was running with the pitch with the count full to Jason Hoye. Hoye drew a rare walk and Al was thrown out at thirdbase. So the score remained 0-0 until the bottom of the 4th inning.

In the 4th, Joe Fitzgerald singled. Jason Hoye followed with a trademark RBI-triple. Hoye was stranded at 3rd base after two quick infield outs. But the Sox tacked on an insurance run in the 6th when Wiesner tripled and scored on a Joe Fitzgerald reach-on-error.

For the Bluefish, Kit Kadlec pitched well in defeat and Chris Harrington singled twice.

Eamonn McDonough tosses another shutout.
