The Grays won their first game of the 2007 Cooperstown Classic with a solid team effort. Brian Cosentino pitched a gem, throwing a complete game 2 hitter, striking out 11. Offensively, eight Grays had hits,including Ted "RUBES" Wroblewski with two singles and Frank "F $ Papers" Nellenback with a double and two runs scored. Josh "J $ Flava" Ernstoff started off his great weekend of baseball with a walk, single, and run scored. He was just getting started.
