It was a wild one up in Lowell. After trading runs in the first inning, the Senators jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the 3rd. The Gators chipped away to make it 5-3 in the bottom of the 3rd but the Senators struck back to go ahead 7-3. In the bottom of the 6th, the wheels fell off the Senator defense as 4 runs came around to score for the Gators. In the top of the 8th, Adam Simpson drove an RBI single to center field, before Zach Simpson shut it down in the bottom of the inning for his first win.

The Bay State Pirates faced off against the Metro Gators in beautiful Lowell Massachusetts. Offense was at a premium early in this game as The Bucs' Matt Lucia battled against the Gators' Dan Poirier. The Gators struck first with a 2 run dinger for Bryan Watkins after a terrific lengthy at bat by the Gators shortstop. The Pirates had no answers for Poirier early as he held the bucs to one infield hit until the 6th inning when the wheels fell off. The big blows came on a Tyler Jackson RBI double and a go ahead RBI single by Todd Elkin. Rookie Matt Lucia rolled through the end of the game on the mound, limiting a tough Gators offense to 5 hits total on the day to take the win by a final score of 4-2. He was aided by three Pirates double plays - a season high.

Christian Gonzalez wasted no opportunities at the plate on Sunday, driving in five on two home runs to lead the Boston Braves past the Metro Gators 12-4 on Sunday. In the first inning, the Boston Braves got their offense started. Nick Valadario hit a solo homer on the very first pitch of the game. The Braves put up five runs in the second inning.
