Good end to what has been a great season for the fish. Nick Dimare got his first start on the mound for the Marlins going 6 inn 2 runs 0 earned with 3 Ks. Nick Powers one half of the infamous Bash brothers finally got going offensively going 3-3 with a double and 2 rbi with 2 stolen bags.The fish are backstroking into the playoffs and will look to death roll the gators in game 1 of the playoffs.

Another tough battle for the fish. Marlins win 3-2 Beny Santana got the start going 5 innings 2 runs and a strikeout. Nick Dimare pitched the next 2 innings no runs and 3 strike outs. Manny Powers got another save with 2 strikeouts. Scoring started for the fish when Manny “Barry Bonds” Powers belted his 3rd homer of the season. Jeremy Polonia has a sac fly in the same inning. Later in the 8th Grofi Cruz and Manny Powers led off with walks. Teddy Mercado eventually delivered a go ahead rbi single which would seal the deal. Marlins go up against the Rockies next Sunday.

In a close game to determine the 2 seed in the north the Marlins were backed with an amazing performance by NP99
As he threw a no hitter with 16ks. First run was scored on a. Ground ball my Manny Powers. Then the second was scored on a sac fly by Bobby Campbell. Jon Artgesinger went 3-3 having a good night at the plate while Corey O’Neil also racked up a couple hits going 2-3. Marlins are rolling on their way to the postseason. They play the Reddogs Sunday morning In what is basically rural New Hampshire. :)

2 powerhouse teams went at it Sunday afternoon at the best park to play baseball. Jovan Henriquez pitcher 6 scoreless innings while Manny Powers recorded the save. Runs were hard to come by now in this one the final score was 3-0. Manny Powers started the scoring with a towering solo shot to left in the second inning. It was scoreless all the way up into the bottom of the 6th inning for the fish when Artgesinger contributed with a sac fly and Campbell walked with the bases loaded. Fish are in action against the As Friday night.

Marlins shot out of the gate for the first time in forever with 5 runs. it was fueled by Andrew Ricci Manny Powers and Ricky Mendez who all recorded hits in the first inning. Marlins didn't let up much later in the game when they recorded 8 runs in the next 3 innings. In the 5th, the Marlins scored 4 more runs to make it 17-0. Beny Sanatan started the game and oitched 3 scoreless innings and receiving the win. Newcomer Danny Jacobs got his second appearance and pitched another scoreless inning. Nick Powers returned from a 3 week departure from the NECBL and pitched a scoreless inning with 3 Ks. Marlins play the red hot senators on sunday.

A hard fought game by both teams. Marlins were down early but kept up with the dodgers aggressive lineup. Errors almos doomed the fish but rallied to tie it at 6 in the 7th to head into extras. Santana with another shaky start although the defense didn’t help him. Danny Jacobs made his Marlins debut pitching an inning and a third of scoreless ball. For the 8th and 9th inning a legend returned :)Manny Powers came in and pitched 2 scoreless innings with 6 Ks and earned the W. Gas was thrown. Much needed win for the fish.

After dropping their last 6 games the Braves showed up to play against the Marlins for a game that has been circled on the schedule for a long time. The Braves were lead by the arm of Chris Delouchrey who went the distance throwing a complete game no hitter with 12 strikeouts.

The Braves will look to build off this big win and face the Rockies in Methuen next Sunday morning.

The Royals took on the Malden Marlins and got a big performance from starter Justin Chere who threw 5 scoreless innings allowing only 4 hits with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. The bats came to life and the Royals got RBI hits from Mike Ahearn, Dominic Coviello, Ryan Ritell, Scott Weber, and Derek Palatino. Halfway through the season, the Royals sit at 8-3 and in first place in the South Division and take on the Central Mass Expos on Thursday June 21 in Boston.
