A's WIN IN EXTRAS TO ADVANCE

A pitcher's duel between the O'Keefe and Levensaler ended in a 10-inning win for the A's.

Donaruma led off the game with a walk. He advanced to 3rd on a Krall single and scored on a Rathapong Asdornvuttikrai fielder's choice. 1-0 A's.

In the 5th, the Cutters took advantage of two 2-out errors, and Weldon drove in Walsh with a double. 1-1.

The score stayed tied until the 10th inning, with both teams threatening with runners in scoring position.

In the 10th, the A's McIntyre led off with a single. Pinch-runner Kurtz advanced to 2nd on a Muollo sac bunt. Mahoney then doubled to right, scoring Kurtz. Lamoureux followed with a single up the middle to plate Mahoney and push the lead to 2 runs. 3-1 A's.

The Cutters threatened in their half. Jay Thomas walked and Walsh reached on an error. Kurtz replaced O'Keefe and recorded a strike out and a ground out to get the save and send the A's on

Southpaw rookie Will Leineweber goes the distance allowing just 2 hits while striking out 6.

Game cruised until the 4th where both teams had their first true chance to score. But as the Cutters leave 2 men on in the top half of the inning, the A's would do the same, both miss chances.

The fifth would prove to be different as Rob Macdonald triples in 2 runs. Again, in the bottom half, the A's try to do the same and load the bases with 2 outs and could not plate a run.

Rob Maca again added an RBI with a sac fly in the 7th to account for the entire game's 3 RBI and that would be all Leineweber would need. Game 4 Tuesday
