At the plate, the Cardinals had a balanced attack with 11 hits but Chris Atchue and Kevin Donfield had 2 hits apiece. The story of the game was the pitching of Legendary Tommy Langmeyer. The Cardinals jumped out to an early lead and held on throughout for the W. On the hill, Mark Andolina was the story of the game.
