Bulldogs first three hitters of the game got hits with Cataldo (double) and Fischer (sacrifice fly) getting RBI. Gagnon lead off the 2nd inning with a double and scored on an error after Hartwell's bunt single. That was the last hit the Bulldogs would get off of Lemarre Rey. Ben O'Shea was dominant striking out 12 and walking just one batter. The only run Testa scored was unearned when Serino reached on a throwing error and then scored with two out on a misplayed fly ball double. Lemarre Rey pitched excellent striking out 7 and not allowing hit after the first 8 Bulldogs batters of the game.

Nate Witkowski hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to lift the Bombers to a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over the Reading Bulldogs. Anthony Del Prete pitched seven strong innings, allowing just two runs in the first inning before putting six zeros on the board the rest of the way. Derek Catoni was the hard luck loser for Reading. He allowed only one earned run over four hits, and struck out nine. Brett Flutie went 2-for-3 on the night, collecting two singles, a run and a stolen base for the Bulldogs.

Steve Gath drove in two runs and Mike Morgan had an RBI double to lead the offense. Curt Everett, 1-1, picked up the win in relief. Lemarre Rey had four hits for Testa, including an RBI single in the fifth. Devin Perry and Josh Klimkiewicz each had two hits and scored for the Bombers.
