The Brewers defeated Milton behind the strong pitching of starter and Cy Young candidate Aram Manoukian (5-0, 1.46 ERA). Aram went 5 innings and allowed just 1 unearned run with 6 strikeouts. The Brewers bats exploded for 7 runs in the 2nd inning with 7 straight hits at one point, and didn't look back. Bob Thomas led the attack for the evening, tacking on 3 hits.
