Darwin Mesa leads the Padres into game 7 with an outstanding pitching performance only relinquishing a infield hit and a bad hop single to stymie Stockyard's bats. Julio Gonzalez's single in the 4th inning drove home the eventual gamewinner and a Cashbee Calderon infield hit in the 5th drove in the insurance. Leftfielder Omar Kennedy made an outstanding throw to nail a runner at the plate in the 5th to preserve the 1 run lead. Manuel Soto also chipped in with some outstanding plays at shortstop.

Mike Ross singles' down the 1st base line with the basesloaded in the bottom of the 9th for the gamewinner that ended an outstanding playoff game that featured some outstanding pitching, defense and clutch hitting. Jose Beltre pitched a strong 8 innings with 7 K's, Manny Calcano came on in the 9th and held the fort for the win. Leigh Zancewicz tripled and scored in the 2nd then doubled down the leftfield line in the bottom of the 8th to tie the game at 3. Darwin Mesa playing 3B turned a screaming line drive with Chris Plant into a doubleplay to end the threat in the 7th.

Stockyard took advantage of Martinez's control problems, scoring 4 in the first. Devin Barry had a bases loaded single that scored 2 runs. Stockyard added 2 more runs in the 4th with leadoff hits by Hal Carey and Steve Busby and an rbi single by Stewart Park. Justin Flanagan was assisted early with 2 double plays and cruised from there. Flanagan pitched a complete game shutout allowing only 4 hits. Terista led the way for the Padres with 2 hits. Stockyard takes a 2-1 series lead with game 4 at Cleveland Circle on Wednesday night.

Hard luck loser Greg Lovett pitches a solid game only allowing 2 hits and 7 K's. Padres try to force things in the 7th instead of letting them flow let one slip away.

Carlsen jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first on 6 hits. Alvarez hit a 2 run double. Stockyard chipped away scoring 2 in the fourth on a 2 run double by Park. Carlsen scored 1 more in the 5th on an rbi hit by Melchinney. Stockyard responded with 2 in the bottom of the 5th. Stockyard scored 3 in the bottom of the 7th on a 2 run homerun by Lyons (3 hits, 4 runs, 2 rbis). The game remained scoreless until Stockyard won it on a sac fly by Rowley in the 9th. Lennon picked up the win after 2 scoreless innings. Stockyard advances to the finals.

Stockyard took a 2-0 lead in the first after 2 walks to Witzberger and Lyons. They completed a double steal and score on a sac fly by Busby and an error by Carlsen. The game remained at 2-0 unitl the 5th when Carlsen capitalized on Stockyard's miscues. The big hit coming on a 2 run double by Alicea. The Stockyard quickly responded in the bottom half of the inning scoring 4 runs. Stockyard's Annino was lifted in the 6th having allowed only 1 earned run while striking out 8. Lennon allowed the inherited runner to score on a base hit by Carlsen's Malaret. Park made the key defensive play in the 6th, turning a 4-3 double play on a jump throw to first. Lennon closed the door striking out the side in the 7th. Annino picked up the win and Lennon the save. Rolls (who was called on to replace injured Carlsen pitcher Velaquez in the 1st) pitched well and kept his team in the game. Witzberger, Lyons and Rowley led the way for the Stockyard wit

Stockyard came out swinging scoring 3 runs in the top of the first with 4 hits including 2 triples. Stockyard jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead after 2 innings but Carlson came right back scoring 3 to make it a 1 run game going into the 5th. Stockyard would tack on another 3 runs to make a last inning Carlson rally not enough. Stewart Park of Stockyard went 3 for 4 which included one of the five triples hit in the game. Dan Zailaskas earned the win for for Stockyard going the distance. Ronny Mercado threw seven full as well in a tough loss.

Darwin Mesa(CG,4 K's) wins his 6th game of the season with a gutsy performance on the mound getting out of jams in the 6th and 7th innings. Captain Sandy Gonzalez starts the rally in the 4th inning with a double to left, singles by Cashbee Calderon, Andrew Terista,Brandon Cody and Chris Plant with a walk from Omar Kennedy. Mike Ross delivered the eventual game winner with a sac-fly to right to end the scoring in the inning with 5 runs to erase a 3 run deficit and on the way to the 10th consecutive victory.
