Erasing two 2-run leads, the home team walked off with a 3-run 7th inning over the Havoc at Trum Field on Thursday Night. The Havoc struck first, plating two in the third inning before the Pirates struck back in the bottom half with 3 runs. But the Havoc immediately answered to retake a 2-run lead in the top half of the 4th, thanks in part to a 3-run double by the Havoc first baseman Chris Dowd. Nick Packard was the offensive star in the late innings, ripping two doubles and eventually scoring the tying run. With the Pirates emptying the bench in the 5th inning, Pirates legend Paul Aseltine was thrown into the mix with a couple of key late-inning at-bats.
