In an incredibly hard fought series with the A's, the Reds completed their improbable run at a title and scored their 2nd BMBL championship title in 3 years with a come from behind victory. The Reds got on the board early by plating 1 run in the top of the first only to give the lead right back to the A's who posted a 4-run bottom of the inning. Garabedian settled in and shut the A's line-up down for the next 5 frames while the offense chipped the lead to 4-3. Down to their last at bat, the Reds staged a comeback with a lead off HBP. Nowlin advanced to 2nd on a WP and scored on a perfect bunt from Steve Altmann and an A's error to tie the game. Altmann would eventually score after a Garabedian single and a Bowles sac fly. Chris Dumas came to the plate and tacked on an insurance run by plating Garabedian on a single. The A's got runners on in the bottom of the 7th but were eventually shut down by Pina who picked up the save.
