The A's complete the sweep and advance to the finals. The bats exploded for the A's, who pounded out 16 hits and 13 runs. LoPresti worked out of jams early, stranding 8 runners in the first 3 innings. In the 4th, the A's started bringing the runners home and never looked back. Alan Donaruma pitched a great game for the A's, going the distance, scattering 7 hits and allowing only 1 ER. He also was on base 4 times. Jay Lamoureux went 4-for-4, including his second HR in as many games. Nick Tapper went 3-for-4 with 4 RBI. Congrats to the White Sox for a great season.
