Reds complete the upset of the Tigers and move on to face the Senators in the Bay State Finals. Wlodarczyk (on 1 day of rest) and Pina squared off at Fallon for the deciding game 3. The Tigers used some early Reds defensive miscues and clutch hitting to take a 4-0 lead. The Reds bats mustered 1 run in the fifth and 3 in the 6th to pull the game back to even. Knell and Melia led off the top of the 7th with back to back singles, followed by a sac bunt. The next 5 Reds all reached base safely to extend the lead to 4. Knell and Melia then capped off the scoring with 2 more back to back singles to give the Reds a 7-run lead. The Tigers fought back in the bottom of the frame plating 3 but the comeback bid fell short. Congrats to the Tigers on a great season and a great series.
