For the second straight game of the series, ADSL defeated the Boston A's in extra innings. The A's had runners on all night with ADSL pitchers Zack Wensley and Ben Gottesman escaping multiple bases loaded jams. The A's got on the board in the 3rd on a solo shot by Chris DeGiacomo. ADSL answered in the 4th with back to back doubles by Elliott (2-3, 2B) and Leonard (3-4, 2 2B) to tie the game at 1-1. In the 6th, Gottesman relieved Wensley as the Athletics loaded the bases with one out. A force out at home, followed by a strikeout, Gottesman escaped the jam. Again in the 7th, A's loaded the bases, this time with no outs-which Gottesman escaped with a force out at home and a hard hit double play line out to force extras. In the 8th, ADSL started a two-out rally with back to back walks and a three-run blast by Eddie Riley to give ADSL the 4-1 lead which led to the 5-2 final. ADSL takes 2-0 series lead.
