The Spinners are in the finals for the second time in three years. They beat the Red Sox 8-0 to complete a three game sweep. Dan Blomerth pitched a complete game, giving up three hits while striking out five. Mark Killoren stayed hot at the plate, going 3 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Greg Megedichian added a double and drove in two runs and Ryan Gaffney also drove in two runs on a mammoth hit in the fifth inning. The Spinners now awaiting the winner of the Athletics-White Sox series to see who they will face for the title.
