The Grays & Brewers battled all night in Game 2 of a best of 3 series. The Brewers scored first notching 1R in the second. They would keep that lead until the top of the 4th when the Grays scored 4R to take a 4-1 lead. The Grays held that lead until the bottom of the 5th when the feisty Brewers scored 4 runs of their own to take a 5-4 lead. In the top half of the 6th inning the Grays bats answered back. Tad Beagley led the offensive charge in the 6th with a clutch 2 out, 2RBI single up the middle. In total the Grays scored 5 runs in the 6th to take a 9-5 lead.
