Tides advance to the finals riding the arm of Dave Iava, who goes the distance striking out 11. Leaders at the plate for Scituate were Danny OBrien (3-4, big 2-RBI single in the 7th), Brendan Stone (2-4), Miguel Miranda (2-4, long double where Jason Pithie was heard saying "that ball stays in two parks - Yellowstone and Adams Field in Quincy"), Mike Casey (2-3, another long double), and Hometown Tony Anderlionis (2-4). Lindsey hurled a gutsy complete game for the Thunder. The McNeil brothers were a combined 5-8 on the night. Chen (2-4) and Confoey (2-4) had good games as well.
