The 'stros won game three by a 6-1 score over the Senators. Eric Harvey led the way with an economical complete game performance. The middle of the stros lineup did the damage. Jamie Manciocchi, Mike Vernon, and Rich Newman all hit the ball hard and the stros defense was solid until Newman threw one almost as far as he hit one. The Astros move on to face the Reds in a best of three series beginning Friday night at Ryan field. The Senators played a gutsy series and Dave Timmons should win manager of the year for what he did with a first year team, talented though they are.
