Brian Houlding pitched the White Sox back to a 1-1 series tie versus the Rangers, allowing just 1 hit going into the 7th inning. In the first two innings, Kyle Michaud already had a pair of sacrifice flies that would give the Sox all the runs they would need. Yet, with the Sox leading 5-0 going into the 7th inning, the Rangers rallied. Chad Besegai reached on error to lead off the inning, followed by O'Donnell, Bristol and Bradesca singles. So with the bases leaded, the tying run at the plate and zero outs, Houlding fought back to retire the next 3 batters and secure the win.
