Chris Allen, a 6-game winner in the regular season, picks up the complete game win. JM Force didn't do much with Grossman's Dan Seip either but bunched three hits and two walks in the third. Dan King got the winning rally started with a triple. Matt Skinner singled him home and Travis Jonasson lined a double knocking in two more. Tim Reinhart's single brought Grossman to within a run, but Allen stranded two runners and brought JMF to a 2-0 series lead.
