Anderson pitched well and went seven for the shutout win. Ridlon had two of the four RBI's in the first inning as that's all the Angels needed.
The O's, however, were missing some players after their win earlier in the day against another team at another field. |

John Favaloro records 5th complete game victory after Orioles rally in the bottom of the 7th keyed by Chris Gobeille's 2-run single. Dan O'Driscoll drove in the winning run - well sort of.
Good pitching by the Mets. Rob Russo went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Mets.

Quincy Grays 5, Wellesley Orioles 4
Very closely played game; Good pitching on both side and Louis Rivera slammed a 2-out 2-run single to take the lead in the bottom of the 6th. Jeremy Spera received his first starting win in the BMBL. The O's played well enough to win. |

Dan hamilos pitched great; Grays made errors and the Grays Bats saved the game. The O's kept coming back and scratching for more. |

Wellesley Orioles 4, Newton Red Sox 1
In an all-around well played game with outstanding pitching from both teams, the Orioles and Red Sox took a 1-1 tie into the 10th inning at Albermarle Field.
Jim Silverman delivered the key hit for the Orioles with a 2 run double in the top of the 10th, which turned out to be the game winner after John Favaloro had enough gas in the tank to shut down the Red Sox in the home half to preserve the win. Favaloro hurled all 10 innings, scattering 4 hits for his 4th complete game victory of the season.
Dave Gagin had 2 hits and an RBI for the Orioles.
Ricardo Figueroa doubled in the Red Sox lone run, while the Sox pitching staff combined for 12 K's on the day. |

Wellesley Orioles 7, Brockton A's 2
To coin a hockey phrase - in what could be described as a battle between two of the original six, the Wellesley Orioles earned two hard fought victory's Sunday at Wellesley Varsity Field.
The Brockton A's - led by Teddy, Joe Berolini, Dave Joseph and Pie to name a few - remain a class team. Win or lose their fun to play and a prime example of why we all suffer through the aches and pains to do this on Sunday mornings. |

Nobody I know has seen two triple plays in one game. But today, it was Ian Wilcken's day. Man on first and third no outs. Jimmy Pigott was on first and running on the pitch... Line drive to third to Dwyer, who stepped on the bag and threw a strike to first... Ian then was playing right field, man on first and second. Line drive to right, he dove, caught the ball, threw a strike to the SS Nelson Linares covering and who tagged the runner, for the second triple play of the day.
Favaloro pitched very well for the Orioles, limiting the Warriors to 5 hits over 7 innings. Messom, however pitched well and, in spite of his defense, only gave up, 3 runs and 6 hits. Great game overall, fun to play in... Gaudet, drove in a key run and Grande drove in the run that made sure the Warriors won.
Defense was great for the Orioles and don't throw a curve ball to Spinale...

With a slim two run lead after 5, the Angels batted around and scored 7 in the 6th to put the game out of reach for the O's. Reggio recorded his second win of the season giving up only 1 run (unearned). He and Anderson held the O's to 3 hits for another very nice outing from both players. Anderson and Cox had 3 hits each to lead the offense. |
