The Tigers advance to the division series behind the arms of Griffiths, Wlodarczyk and Copson. The Tigers would get all the runs they needed in the 1st. Taking advantage of a Pane BB and JP HBP, Morgan laced a ball up the middle scoring Pane for the first run. Morgan would then use his "wheels" to record his 1st SB of the season, as JP scored what would be the GW run on the catcher's overthrow. Griffiths held the Senators to one run through 3 innings, until they threatened in the 4th on a BB and 2B with no outs. On just 2 days rest, Wlodarczyk got the call and pitched valiantly, getting the Tigers out of the jam, allowing just one hit in 3 innings of work, earning his 2nd W in the series. Insurance runs would come in the 3rd, 4th and 6th for Copson to close it out in the 7th. The Tigers move on to play the Stros in the Bay State division series. Congrats to the Senators on a great season.

The Tigers rode to victory in Game 1 of the series on the arms of Wlodarczyk and Copson and Pollard's huge...bat. Sway did his thing in the first, walking and stealing second. Field followed with a lined single bringing Jippa to the plate, who proceeded to launch a 2-0 fastball into the softball field. He barely had enough gas in the tank, but he managed to cruise home for the official dinger. The bottom of the third saw more action from Field and Pollard as they worked their counts and after Field walked, Pollard took another 2-0 fastball into deep right, this time settling for a mere triple and his 4th RBI of the night. Murph followed with a single to drive in JP and finish the scoring before Gib stole home in the 6th. Rich pitched with a lead, and cruised through 5, K'ing the side in the 4th and allowing just 2 hits. Copson finished the shutout with 2 pristine innings, ending the game on a strike 'em out, throw 'em out.

The Tigers win this one in a warm-up for the first round of the playoffs. There was no score through 3, thanks to some incredible defense by Silky as he made a superman grab of a shot by Coyne, then nailed Ackerson at home as he tried to score on a Laliberte single. Things stayed even until the 4th when the Senators filled the sacks, and Bourbeau pushed the game's first run across with a hard-fought BB. Griff was able to escape without any more damage, bringing the Tigers to the plate. A string of walks and a Gib rope to center scored KB and 2 more on the error on the throw to the infield. This would give the Tigers all the runs they needed, and Long finished the scoring with a groundout to plate Gib. 3 other Tiger pitchers combined to finish the game, including another scoreless inning from Copson. The game capped an awesome regular season for the Tigers, and another well-played game by the Senators. Playoff!?, PLAY-OFFS!?!

The Tigers jumped out of the gates early, scoring five runs in the first two innings on key hits from Sway (2-3, 3R, 4SB), JP (1-3, 2B, 2RBI), Morgan (2-4, 3B, 3RBI) and Long (2-3, RBI). Griffiths remained effective on the mound, holding the Senators scoreless through 3 2/3 innings until a set of walks and error contributed to a 3-run 4th. Copson was able to come in and shut the door the rest of the way with help from red hot Morgan who roped a 3B over the LF's head providing the GW RBI's in the 6th. The Senators showed some fight in the final inning, nearly batting around the order, but a fly ball to LF would end the game, leaving the tying run stranded.

Senators' starter Sean Bourbeau picked up his first MABL win, pitching a complete game. Bourbeau was perfect through 4 innings but had to pitch his way out of trouble in the 5th and 7th. In the second, the Senators plated 7 on 7 walks and 3 hits. Offensively, Nate Laliberte continued his stellar year with 2 RBIs, a home run and a walk. Joe Burns, Matt Meuse and Dennis Ingram each had one hit and contributed with walks and RBIs. The White Sox made it interesting at times with an RBI triple by Mike Lembo to break up the no-hitter followed by a home run by slugger Brett Rudy.

Bourbeau gets the win. Laliberte and Rudy go deep.

The Grays earned their second win of the season behind great pitching by Bill Grossi. Grossi struck out seven and only allowed two hits to earn his first career MABL victory. Offensively the Grays were led by Rob Prenovitz with three hits and two RBIs, Ted Wroblewski and Ben Pellegrom each added two hits, and Chris Barrientos, Tad Beagley, and Bill Grossi added a hit and two RBIs apiece. Overall it was a solid offensive and defensive team effort for the Grays.

Victor Ruiz goes 8 gritty innings for the complete game win against the Senators down in Acton. After both teams score a run in the first inning, it would become a back-and-forth contest from then on out, with each team having a 3-run inning, and several batters being thrown out at home plate for both teams. The Orioles would pull it out in the end on a RBI walk by Wilde, and Ruiz would make it stand by. For the Senators, Bourbeau pitches well in defeat, matching Ruiz in hits in a CG effort.

The Senators knock off the first place Indians in dramatic fashion. The Indians jumped out early scoring 2 on a wild throw in the first. The Senators would answer in the bottom frame with 3 on RBI singles by Matt Coyne, Nate Laliberte and a bases loaded walk by Dennis Ingram. The Senators would add another in the 2nd and the 5th on an RBI single by Ben Keffer and an RBI triple by Nate Laliberte. The die-hard Indians didn't quit adding 1 in the 6th and 2 in the 7th to tie it on a series of walks and precision hitting. Unfortunately, that wouldn't be enough as the Senators walk off with a win after a leadoff walk by Laliberte, 2 stolen bases and bloop single. Senator starter Matt Mothander pitched 5, allowing 1 earned run on 2 hits and struck out 9. Ben Keffer picked up the win in relief.

Mike Diccico goes 6 innings, striking out 12 and allowed only 4 hits in a well pitched game. Chico #1 started the 7th and proceeded to walk the first 2 batters and Ned Coffee came in get a fly out to left and then struck out the next 2 batters to preserve a much needed win for the Cutters. Offensively the bottom of the order came up big on the night with hits from Chris Dileo, Tim Melanson and Mike Fecteau who went 2-3 w/ a triple and 3rbis. Burns pitches well in defeat striking out 6 and Ack attack was 1-3 w/ a triple and rbi for the Sens.
