The Dodgers welcomed back Keith Vera after a painful elbow injury had kept him sidelined for over 5 weeks, where V went 2-3, scored twice, and had an RBI. Gregg Smith also added a base hit as well.

The Braves' Pete Sheridan and the Dodgers' Chris Arenda both pitched gems in the second game of the doubeheader. A throwing error by Arenda in the first allowed the only run of the game. Arenda went the distance for the Dodgers allowing only 3 hits and the unearned run. Sheridan went 6 innings and was relieved by Josh Brooks-Ramsdell after giving up a leadoff double to Matt Donoghue in the 7th. After Donoghue was caught stealing at third, Brooks-Ramsdell recorded two strikeouts for his first save of the year.

Sullivan and Wentworth both had 3 hits for the Braves, while Tracy, Oulette, and Hannon all had 2 hits.
