Facing elimination from the play-offs, and playing with only 8 men, the Holmwood Graysox staged a dramatic comeback to beat the Grays 6-5. Trailing 5-3 with 2 outs in the 7th, Glenn Humphrey tripled with the bases loaded to put the Graysox ahead 6-5. Earlier, Chuck Olson hit a 2 run homer to tie the game. Kevin Locke went the distance for the win. Guenthner also homered for the Grays, and Winant pitched well in the loss.

Mark Moise stole home and then knocked in the game winning run as the RSox clawed out of a very big hole to defeat the GSox. Bill Carlezon recorded the win and Sean O'Connor the save. Jim Mahoney had 3 hits for the GSox and Kevin Moore pitch well until his back spasms.

Gary Keil pitched 7 innings fanning 12 to pick up the win. Ken Marks had a big double driving home 2, and rbi singles by Locke and Batte. John Lamb also had 2 hits. Rose had a long homerun for Quincy, and Angel Claudio was tough on the mound

Brian Cassidy came in relief to put out the fire in the first inning and pitched 6 innings of 3 hit ball the rest of the way.

Stu Panasuk knocked in the GW RBI in the 6th inning and the Jays never looked back.

The offense was led by Paul Driscoll and Kevin Senna who chipped in with 2 hits and 2 RBI each. Greg Phieffer also contributed with 3 hits.
