The Townies were up 7 to 0 through five but the A's out up four in the sixth after some fielding lapses by the Townies and the A's being the good hitting team they are scored four times. The A's scored once in the top of the seventh but left them loaded. Fine pitching performance by Tom Baionno with Gregg Meyer coming in to get the save and the final three outs. |

Kevin Locke of the Gray Sox and Gregg Meyer of the Townies locked up in a pitcher's duel but Joe Keough came through with all three RBI for the Townies with two key singles to pull out their first win of the season. Meyer struck out 16 after going the distance for the 5th time this year. |

Quincy jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning but the Townies fought back to tie the game at three a piece after 5 innings. Quincy was able to score three in the top of the 7th to hang on to their second win of the season. |

In a tough pitcher's duel between Sox Gregg Bromley and Townie Dave Pettee, the Red Sox prevailed for their first win of the season. Some defensive lapses led to most of the runs for both teams as the game came down to the final at bat strikeout with the bases loaded.
Matt Petruzzo for the Sox went 3-3. |
