The Marlins neiled the Giants and slugged their way to a 10-0 victory at Tivnan Field Saturday afternoon. With the stands chock full of Skypecks The Chancellor put another gem under his belt allowing only five hits and walking none. Helping him along the way were notable defensive contributions from Andy Katz (SS), Kit Kadlec (RF), Tim Sheflin (2B-3B) and Jason Skypeck (C). The Doherty and Defense formula was as stingy as ever, allowing only two Giants to reach second base.

The Marlins jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead with a two out Skypeck RBI single and an error in the third. They continued to produce in support of their ace, plating two more in the fourth when Al Becker and Kadlec led off with singles, Gregg Howard provided a perfect sacrifice, and Brian Caccavale lined a two run single to right. Back-to-back sac flies from Becker and Kadlec made it 6-0 after four and a Karl Cyr two-run double chased the Giants starter in the fifth.
