Orioles 2 3 0 3 0 0 6 14 16 0
Randolph Red Sox 2 2 0 0 0 2 0 6 5 6

In one of the most drawn-out games ever played at salsa-swinging Clifford, the O's offense outlasted the Red Sox plate patience. The Red Sox were helped out by an Orioles' staff that hit 5 batters and walked 9 before the lights went out with 2 outs in the 7th.

Ryan Bere picked up his first MABL win, pitching 4.1 innings of relief, yielding only 2 runs. He was backed by a defenense that played error-free ball, turning 3 double plays and nailing a runner trying to steal home on a wild pitch.

Some highlights:
Will Wilde 3-4, a double short of the cycle, hit a 3-run HR towards the softball field in Center.
Jay Thomas hit a 400-ft single, circling the bases with what appeared to be a HR, only to be ruled out on appeal as he never touched 2B.
Cruz, Magsam, Greenlaw also had 2 hits each.

A-Train cruised to his third victory of the season despite being backed up by an infield full of late-season callups.

The Marlins got on the board early when a Steve Mellor bases-loaded walk and a two out, two run double by Brian Caccavale made it 3-0. Infield errors and aggressive baserunning helped the Marlins to three more in the sixth, capped when Pat Allen drove in Paul Bracco with a sac fly. With a comfortable 6-2 lead in the sixth, fan favorite Todd "Harris" Garland connected for a triple to deep right for his first MABL hit, and later came around to score on a Kevin Brennan groundout.
