Cambridge Warriors 11, Newton Bombers 1
The Bombers didn't have much luck against Williams in this one, even if Stolz and Hayward hit rockets off of him to get their lone run with a double and a single, respectively, in the top of the 5th. After a tough day at the plate, Gaudet delivered with 2-out, 2-run triple to secure the lead. Adam Messom continued to hit well and played the expected good defense. Williams and Gaudet pitched for the Cambridge Warriors and pitched great. Hope Kimble's injury is only minor and he gets back on the field. |

Cambridge Warriors 11, Newton Bombers 7
Despite the numbers of runs, a well pitched game by both Eric Kimble and Jimmy Pigott. The Warriors almost threw this one away in the bottom of the 3rd with some sloppy play, but Matt Williams came up with the bases loaded in the top of the 7th and hit a friggin' monster double to take the lead. |

Boston Braves 4, Cambridge Warriors 3
The Braves struck first when Chris St. Amand singled and came around to score on Steve Barry's RBI single in the first. The Warriors would get three runs in the fourth on three singles and a pair of Braves errors, with the last run coming in on Brian Gaudet's single. Some sparkling defense would hold the Warriors at bay and allow the Braves to score one in the sixth and two in the top of the ninth to seal the win. Steve Hare (CG, 3 R, ER, 8 H, 4K, 3 BB) got his fourth win of the season, while Jim Pigott (8 IP, 4 R, 4 ER, 8 H, 4 K, 4 BB) took the loss for Cambridge. |

Cambridge Warriors 6, Dorchester Yankees 1
Jimmy Pigott pitched a spectacular game. Greg Curtis made what amounts to the best catch of the year. If it was on ESPN, it would have been a web gem. Jonathon Bannish broke through with a hit, a run, a RBI, a steal of home and 7 assists.
The Yankees played a great defensive game with some great at-bats. Mackellar pitched a complete game. |

Ryan - "Field Of Nightmares". No lights, so the game starts an hour late, then lights shut off in the bottom of the 6th. Quicksand-like mud keeps batters, infielders, baserunners glued in place as well. 6 K's by Warrior Alejandro Sandoval, key glovework by SS Mike DeMarco. 3 for 3 at the plate by O's Spinale. |
