The Holmwood bats finally woke up with an 11 hit attack, to get their first win of the year over Brockton. The offense was led by Jim Mahoney, Tony Catalano, and Larry Verecker who had 2 hits each. Kevin Moore pitched 4 strong innings to earn the win, and Tony Catalano finished with 3 shutout innings for the save. Rich Petrillo was the hard luck loser who didnt get much support, and Piekarski went 3-3 for Brockton.
