A classic pitchers duel between Tom Baionno and Mike Connoly for a scoreless tie at the end of 7.
The Townies had a runner at third with one out in the bottom of the the 7th but couldn't put him accross. The Jays put the game away in the 8th scring 8 and Connoly finished it up on the muddy field at Ryan. Just like when we were kids! |

Kevin Moore pitched 5 strong innings allowing 4 hits to pick up his 2nd win of the year. Sean Oconnor pitched 2 scoreless innings to close it out. The offense was led by Kevin Locke who was 3-3 with a triple and 2 rbis, Sean Oconnor who was 2-2, and rbi singles by Paul Helmuth, Ken Marks, and Kevin Moore. Speed demons Oconnor and Mahoney stole bases. Mike Connelly went the distance for Jays, striking out 10 |

The Twins won this see-saw slugfest by scoring 7 runs the the bottom of the 6th inning. Jeff Hubbard was the winning pitcher in relief of Paul " Wild Thing" Earle, who pitched 5 gutty ininngs. The Twins attack was lead by Hoss Ruppert, who had a four hit night.
For the Blue Jays, Mike Williams socked three hits, with help from tough luck losing pitcher Mike Connolly, who contributed a long triple and Jim Gaudiano, who had a ringing double that almost cleared the fence in leftcenter. Dom Sestito did an admirable job behind the dish for the Jays. |
