Palmer takes a close one scoring 5 in the bottom of the 7th to start the week 1-0. Pitching staff kept in within range for the offense to pour on for the walkoff win. Key contributions in the 7th from Coach JP (Ted Williams) taking a pitch off the an elbow pad that will still place him on the 5 day IL and Longley with the walkoff hit. |

Batting around in the 1st inning, Grossman jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead, and built it to 6-0 by the end of the 3rd inning. TJO's bullpen was solid after that, but the damage already had been done.
Kieran Karson picked up the W, pitching the first 4 innings and inducing a couple of timely double plays to get out of some jams. Sam McQuaid made his first appearance of the season, pitching the 5th, before handing the ball over to brothers Justin and Frankie Hernandez, who pitched a scoreless 6th and 7th, respectively. |

Interim head coach Tony Trafecanty picks up his first career Park League victory. A firey pregame speech sparked the club to a 5-2 win. Jake "The Snake" Gilbert slithered his way to his first victory of the season, throwing 4 quality innings and striking out 8. Southpaw Kyle Zembsch would get in an inning of work and Jake Sokhos would close out the final 2 innings. He would allow 1 run in the 7th pitching in extreme weather as rain began pouring. The Palmer club offense struggled a bit but was able to muster just enough runs. Rookie Gabe Malaret would draw two walks and make some good advances on the basepaths to score 2 runs. Max Martain had an RBI single in the 4th that scored Malaret; and Martain would score on a rare Max Iorio hit! Iorio had been cold as ice and came up huge smashing a triple to deep center field. Lightning struck twice as Iorio would also add insurance in the 7th via a sac fly to score speedster Jim Perron |

Palmer has a strong showing and starts the week off with a win. Tony "Sweetfeet" Trafecanty went 3 innings and held TJO to 2 runs. The pen was sharp allowing only 1 more run to score. Jake Sokhos came in stiking out the side and tossed an additional inning. Pierce Salbego and Chris "The Flash" Anderson would each get a solid inning of work. The Palmer offense was red hot getting contributions from the entire lineup. Each batter managed to get on base multiple times in the game. The offensive standout on the night was Jim Perron, normally a defensive specialist. Perron was 3-3 on the night with a long double, a walk, absorbed a HPB, 2 RBI's, and even showed off blazing speed on the basepaths scoring 4 runs. Palmer Clubs senior citizen/super utility player JP Songin had a solid night at the dish. Songin was 2-4 with a double, 2 RBI's, and was also plunked by a pitch. Gabe Malaret and Alex Venditti would each hammer extra base hits. |
