PALMER CONTINUES TO ROLL! Through some shaky weather conditions Jake "The Polar Express" Gilbert steamed through 5 innings striking out 7 and allowing only 2 hits. In a combined effort Crazy Kyle Zembsch and Pierce "Candyman" Salbego would pitch well enough to hamper a surging A's offense. The Palmer offense had contributions throughout the lineup and from its deep bench. John "Bones" Jones was 2-3 with a big double that brought in 2 runs. Aiden "Loveboat" Hawley would reach base 3 times and score each time (wink). Gabe "The Hammer" Malaret walloped another solo homer. |

PALMER TAKES GAME 1! Tony "Sweetfeet" Trafecanty continued his year of dominance on the mound. Skipper JP Songin thought about bringing in a reliever for the 7th, but Tony growled and said he wasn't coming out until the arm fell off. He tossed another complete game allowing only 4 runs to a tough lineup. Jim "Mr. August" Perron decided to show up for playoffs after faking injuries for most of the year. Perron got the scoring going in the 1st with a homer and proceeded to go 3-4 with 3 RBI's on the night. Eric Longley had a hot bat going 2-2 with a double and a homer; the Bridgewater State product attributed his success to a 2 week hiatus of deep meditation. He mentioned the journey was enlightening and that curveballs shouldn't be swung at. In the 6th Gabe Malaret would have the biggest at bat of the night smashing a 2 run homer to take the lead. Solid team effort from Palmer to get the win. |

Twinkletoes Trafecanty tosses a gem in a midweek thriller at Catholic Memorial. Trafecanty went the distance going 7 innings, striking out 9, and allowing only 4 hits. Palmer Club struck first in the second inning. Youngster Gabe Malaret doubled to right center scoring Max "The Lifeguard" Iorio. In the 7th Palmer Club would rally getting several consecutive hits from Jack Magane, Max Martin, Little Chris Hoyt, & Aiden Hawley. Hawley would drive in the winning run and John Jones would drive in 2 insurance runs to seal the deal. |

Zack Wensley throws a complete game and leads the ADSL Anteaters to a much needed victory.
Strong offensive performance putting together 7 runs providing enough support for the defensive efforts.
The A’s hit a 2 run blast in the bottom of the 7th with no outs to make it a 1 run game but, Wensley was able to bounce back and retire 3 straight to end the game.

A little birthday magic from Tony Trafecanty on the hill today as he would pitch 6 strong innings allowing zero runs with 5 strikeouts and only a few hits. Jake Gilbert closed the game in the 7th to shutout the A's and give Palmer the win. John Jones swung it well tonight going 2-3 with two singles. Alex Venditti would provide all the run support needed for the Club tonight with a two-run bomb in the first inning. Palmer Club wins the week going 3-1 and will look to carry this momentum going into the next one. |

Zack Wensley allows just 2 hits in 5 innings. McManus gets the offense going early with a 2 run home run in the top of the 1st. McKinley with a 2 run single in the top of 7th to cap it off. Knowles earns the save in relief. |

Palmer salvages the week getting a win against the A's! Tony "Twinkle-toes" Trafecanty tiptoed his way through 5 innings to pick up the win. Pierce "La Flama Blanca" Salbego closed the door in the 6th & 7th. In the 4th super-utility/coach JP Songin would single to start the inning and manage to get to 2nd base. Either due to brilliant coaching or a lack of oxygen (from running) he would have Brandon Bukowski come in to pinch run. On a short chopper to SS, Bukowski would hover in front of the ball until the last minute providing a screen that led to a bobble/error to extend the inning as he advanced to 3rd. Richie McNamara would then single in Bukowski. Chris "Hollywood" Hoyt would line a triple to right, and Jim "Mr. August" Perron would drive in what would be the game deciding run. Pre-game Steve "The Hunchback of WPI" Gallagher relayed some motivating words to the squad while preparing for his rehab assignment in San Diego. |

Palmer Club comes away with a victory on opening night of the 2023 season! A lot of new faces this year and a total team effort to get this win. Newly acquired Jake Gilbert started and completed 3 strong innings striking out 3. Veteran Kyle Zembsch returned after a year on the DL tossing 1 inning; and rookies Jack Maynard, Jack Sokhos, and Pierce Salbego would each toss an inning as well. Relievers held the A's to 5 runs on the night. Out of retirement Chris Hoyt and rookie Liam Russell made major impacts on the night. Hoyt was 3-4 with run scored, and 1 RBI. Russell was 2-2 with 2 runs scored and a walk. The pair would manage to pull off a double steal in the 6th to score the eventually winning run and they also managed to turn a fly out to left into a double play via relay to end the game in the 7th. JP Songin accredited the win to his own brilliant coaching, his players had nothing to do with it. |
