The Boston Havoc won their second BMBL 18+ Championship in three years in a Game 5. After a nail-biting series with the Rays through 4 games, the Havoc convincingly closed out the series with a 13-1 victory.
John Medina delivered a complete game, yielding only one run, securing the win and earning himself Playoff Co-MVP honors. Brendan Pounds, who went 3 for 3 in the game, was also named Playoff Co-MVP, leading the team in both hits and runs.
What a remarkable run, and congrats also to the Rays on a hard-fought series. |

In the opening game of the Best of 5 series, the Boston Havoc put up a 14-0 victory over the Middleboro Mocka Rays. John Medina delivered a masterclass as he pitched a 3-hit shutout over 7 innings, walking 2 and striking out 6.
The Havoc's offense was on fire, racking up 15 hits. Omar Ortiz led the charge with 3 hits and 2 RBIs. Luis Leon contributed with 3 RBIs, while Andrew Mateo and Mitch Stern each added 2 RBIs. The Havoc started strong, scoring 4 runs in the 1st inning and adding another 5 in the 2nd.
With this victory, the Boston Havoc has taken a 1-0 lead in the series. Game 2 will be Wednesday night at Brandeis University. |

In a 5-run game with 4 sacrifice flies, a deeply caught sacrifice fly gapper hit by Brendan Pounds in the top of the 7th inning put the Havoc up 3-2 after trailing the entire game. The prior inning, after a sacrifice fly by Connor Weathers, Andrew Matteo had tied the game with a 2-out single.
Luke Bakker and Alex Fernandez contributed with sacrifice flies for the Giants.
Both teams boasted strong pitching performances. Seth Perkins delivered 6 solid innings for the Havoc, mirrored by Manny Garcia's performance for the Giants. Nick Powers sealed the game, navigating a loud 7th inning to secure the save. |

The Boston Havoc defeated the Greater Boston Bandits with a 6-1 win. Jumping ahead early, the Havoc posted two runs in the first inning and four in the second.
Standout performances included Connor Weathers with two hits and two RBIs, Omar Ortiz who went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, and Luis Leon with two hits.
Pitcher John Medina maintained his unbeaten season, ending at 6-0, allowing just a single run over six innings while striking out eleven. Closing for the Havoc, Ryan Prince threw a scoreless final inning with two strikeouts, securing the victory. |
