Boston Havoc 3, Boston Lobos 0
The Boston Havoc clinched a tight 3-0 victory over the Boston Lobos. The highlight of the game was Brendan Pounds stealing home in a delayed steal maneuver to give the Havoc a 1-0 lead in the second inning. The game also saw the first hits of the season for Tommy Heavren and Ryan Prince.
However, it was the impeccable pitching by John Medina that took the spotlight. Medina kept the Lobos scoreless throughout the seven innings, allowing nine hits but striking out an impressive nine batters. This performance improved Medina's record to an undefeated 5-0.
Despite the Lobos managing to outhit the Havoc securing nine hits, they couldn't translate it into runs, giving Havoc a clean shutout victory. It was a well-fought contest by both sides. |
