The Expos take a 2-1 series lead in a best of 5 series against the defending champion Blue Sox behind the masterpiece of RHP Zach Kirby. Kirby would throw a complete game shutout with 1BB and 9K's while only allowing 3 hits. Kirby held up a 1st inning homerun by Mike Golankiewicz and never really let the Blue Sox feel they had a chance to tie the game, allowing only one runner to reach past first base all game. Matt Chatelle's solo home run in the fourth gave Lexington the lead for good at 2-1. Robbie Cobb pitched 5 strong innings for his second win of the postseason. Cam Meyer and Dom Zaher drove in the first and third Blue Sox runs. Kebler Peralta scored the lone Expos run when he scored on a throwing error. David Kerns went the distance for Middlesex and took the loss.
