The Expos take a 2-1 series lead in a best of 5 series against the defending champion Blue Sox behind the masterpiece of RHP Zach Kirby. Kirby would throw a complete game shutout with 1BB and 9K's while only allowing 3 hits. Kirby held up a 1st inning homerun by Mike Golankiewicz and never really let the Blue Sox feel they had a chance to tie the game, allowing only one runner to reach past first base all game.
The toughest win is always the close out win, the Expos will look to try and finish things off Thursday night at Morelli. Come on out and watch some premium amateur baseball, first pitch 7:45pm.
