The Cardinals even up the BMBL Championship Series at 2 games apiece and force a do-or-die Game 5 Final with an impressive 8-2 victory against the visiting Boston Bombers at Morelli Field.

Cardinals starter Juan Mendoza was in charge throughout, working out of jams to pick up his 3rd win of the postseason. The Bombers stranded 15 base runners on the night, unable to cash in with that big hit.

Julian Alvarez kept his torrid postseason going with a 3-4 night, knocking out Bombers starter Dan Godfrey with a 2nd inning RBI double. Jose Paulino and Harry Smith had 2 hits a piece, each adding clutch RBI's.

Juan Parra led the Bombers offense with 3 hits and 2 stolen bases. Johnny Hayes chipped in with 2 hits and an RBI.

With some rain forecasted for Thursday night, these two great teams will await their assignments for what should be an epic Game 5 finale.
