The Havoc jumped into first place with a win over the Thunder on the last day of the season.

Going into the bottom of the 3rd inning, the game was knotted up 1-1. With 2 outs, Hectik Garcia doubled, Jordan Sui reached on error, and Romello Carbuccia hit a 2-RBI single that would give the Havoc a 3-1 lead - ultimately all the runs they would need.

 Summary | Box Score

N. Andover Thunder 0 1 0 2 1 5 0 9 11 4
Mill City Mustangs 0 0 1 1 0 4 1 7 0 0

The Thunder sent their godfather, Dave Brown, off with a win as they held off one hell of a comeback effort from a Mustang squad with no quit in it.

Catcher John OKane partnered with North Andover pitchers Nick Buckman, Jason OLeary, and Matt Garon to keep the Mill City hitters just off-balance enough. James Thompson and Hector RAMOS tracked down every fly ball that came anywhere near them, while Thompson also paced the Thunder offense with 3 hits, a walk, and a RBI. Joe Barrera and Benny Bridger flexed their muscle at the plate, and Ramos, Garon, and Brown each chipped in timely hits.

Nadonly could not be kept off the base paths for the Mustangs, with 3 hits, a walk, 2 steals, and a pair of runs. On the mound, Billy Beauschene made life difficult for Thunder hitters through 5 innings.

The Havoc scored in every inning to defeat the Thunder, 13-2.

DJ Conrad (1-0) captured the win in his first start of the season, throwing 4 innings and allowing just 2 hits with a first-inning run. Adam Anderson, Jordan Siu, and Hectik Garcia each threw an inning of bullpen-by-committee to keep the Thunder at bay and to preserve the victory.

The highlight of season occurred in the third inning. After Andy Frye and Joe Barrera walked to put Thunder runners on 1st and 2nd, Matt Garon hit a hard line-drive to second base. Havoc Hectik Garcia caught the liner for out number one, flipped to Romello Carbuccia at second base to double-up Frye, who fired to across the diamond to Chris Dowd at first base to triple-up Barrera. Triple play!!

For the Havoc, Carbuccia rapped 3 hits with a double and 4 RBI, while Patrick Valdes and Chris Dowd each doubled with a pair of hits.

The Havoc improved to 9-5 on the season.
