In perhaps the most dramatic game of the season, the Havoc came out on top over the Hogs, 6-5, in 8 innings.

The Hogs jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the third inning, capped by a monstrous double by Peter Blunt. The score would remain until the 6th inning.

In the 6th inning, the Havoc battled back and tied the game on RBI singles by Luke Hils and Will Marsh - and took a 4-3 lead on an Omar Ortiz RBI single.

But then the Hogs regained a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the 6th inning on singles by James Mcgrath and Jackson Forelli.

So in the top of the 7th, Havoc Luke Hils drove in Jordan Siu to tie the game again, 5-5, and send the game to extra frames.

In the 8th inning, Omar Ortiz walked, and Andrew Mateo hit a deep bomb to center to drive Ortiz in, giving the Havoc a 6-5 lead.

Seth Perkins, who pitched the final 3 frames in relief of John Medina, held the Hogs scoreless in the bottom of the 8th to preserve the win. Wow!

Boston Havoc 16, Boston Hogs 1

 Summary | Box Score
Final 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 R H E
Boston Hogs 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 4 1
Boston Havoc 1 1 6 0 0 8 x 16 9 1

The Havoc remain the only undefeated team in the 18+ division with a convincing 16-1 slaughter of the Hogs.

Seth Perkins notched the win for the Havoc, allowing 3 hits and an unearned run over 4 innings with 4 strikeouts. Perkins holds a 0.00 ERA on the season across 3 games pitched. Luke Hils dominated the next 2 frames, allowing no hits and recording 2 strikeouts. While Hils didn't earn the win this game, he remains the league leader with a 3-0 record and is a fan favorite in Pennsylvania. Nate Perkins returned the Hogs to their pen with a scoreless 7th inning.

At the dish, the Havoc smacked 9 scattered hits. Yet, the difference in the game was sloppy Hogs pitching. A whopping 14 walks and 5 hit batters did the damage and led to a 6-run third inning and an 8-run sixth inning.

Rolling in the mud with Hogs can be a dirty game. Good thing the Havoc clean up nicely.
