The A's take game 1 on the back of Jon Shepard who pitched an efficient 6 scoreless innings on his way to his second post-season win. Matty Kerin came in and closed out the 7th to ensure it. At the plate the A's struck early, scoring in the 1st and third, then again in the 6th to add some security.

What shaped up to be a pitcher's duel, into the 6th knotted at 1, ended up with the A's on top behind a 3-run dong from Chris DeGiacomo in the top of the 6th. Jon Shephard pitched well through 6th only allowing 1 run on the night and picking up the win to improve to 1-0 in the post-season. Pat shore came in the 7th to close it out.

A high-scoring affair that involved a lot of solid hitting on both sides. Down 13-6, the A's chipped away and tied things up in the 6th. After a scoreless 7th, the game was halted on account of imminent darkness.

The A's get it done with the bats, providing plenty of run support for Kevin Sinatra to get the win, his first of the season. Sinatra was effective and efficient through 4. Ollie Collette, Declan Driscoll, and Pat shore each pitched an inning to close out the game. Of note was Chris DeGiacomo's 3-run homer off the concrete bleachers to blow the game wide open.

The A's had Alex Wong on the bump, who went 5 and held the formidable Padres offense to 4 runs. Matt Kerin came in to pitch the 6th and retired the side. The A's were playing catch up all night at the dish, but finally took the lead in the top of the 7th on a pinch hit 2-rbi triple by Ryan McGeown-Conron. Pat Shore came in to slam the door and lock up the win with a 1-2-3 innings.

Jon Shepard settles in and goes 6 innings en route to his second win of the season. After going down 3 in the top of the first, the A's answered plating 2 in the bottom of the inning to keep it close. Then in the bottom of the 3rd, the A's were able to string enough hits together to plate 5. It would prove enough, as Shep got stronger throughout the night and Matt Kerin was able to close out the 7th.

The A's answer back with a win after getting walked off in the last meeting. Kevin Sinatra pitched 5, only allowing 2 to garner his first win on the season and Pat Shore came in to slam the door in the 6th and 7th. At the plate, the A's exploded for 6 in the 3rd, including 5 two-out runs. It would prove enough run support to come out on top.

Grossman prevails in a back and forth game, sparked by the pitching of Jake Normile (4IP, 3H) and the bats of Dylan McNary (3-4, 2B, 2R, SB) and Nick Hohenstein (2-4, 2B, R, RBI).

Bryan Guerrero contributed the real heroics: down 4-3 in the 6th, he smacked a go-ahead 2-run HR to give Grossman the lead for good. Hohenstein closed it out with 2 innings of scoreless ball to pick up the save.

After another slow start, the A's explode in the 3rd and 4th inning to give starting pitcher Garrett Siegell a healthy cushion of 11 runs. Siegell pitched well through 5 and got the win, allowing only 2 runs on the night. Driscoll and Mack came in to finish the contest, both recording scoreless innings.

The A's pull out a victory after going down 6 runs early on. The bats started slow, failing to reach base for the first 6 outs, then in the bottom of the 3rd the A's answered the bell with 5 runs to make it a game. That seemed to be the needed spark as they were able to push another across in the 4th, and 7 more in the 5th. Chris Sandini pitched 5 and well enough to get the win, with Declan Driscoll and Ollie Collette contributing clean innings to close it out.

The A's jump out to an early lead and never look back. Buoyed by great defense and timely hitting, the effort was good enough to garner a second win. Alex Wong improved to 1-0 on the season in his first outing of the year, backed by relief efforts from Driscoll and Mack to put the game away.

The A's came out swinging, and after some back and forth, walk it off to get the first win of the condensed season. By committee, the pitching staff threw well in spots where needed. Down a run in the bottom of the 7th, the A's got a runner on, who would score on a double from Arresty, and then respectively scored on a walk off hit from Petrone.
