On a weird night in Duxbury, the Senators pulled out a 5-3 win. Zach Simpson won his second game of the season with a complete game effort. Cam Deegan stayed hot by going 3-3 with 2 doubles.

After a power outage Thursday night, the bats got back to being hot on a hot afternoon in Dedham. Chris Holland, Adam Simpson, Zach Simpson, and Cam Deegan all contributed three hits and Jon Lawlor had two of his own. Jake Marchesseault got his second win of the season, going 4.2 innings. Adam Simpson and Mike Sjolin preserved the big lead by combining for 2.1 innings of scoreless relief.

The Senator offense has woken up in recent weeks, and this game was no different. After scoring four in the first inning, they continued adding on throughout the game. The Royals battled back in the 5th with a three homer from Phil Perez to tie the game, but the Senators got two back in the bottom of the inning. After a double by Jon Lawlor and an RBI single from Pat Dempsey in the sixth, Adam Simpson added a two run homer of his own to add some insurance runs. Jake Marchesseault picked up his first win in the CABL with a complete game effort in the sweltering heat.

It was a wild one up in Lowell. After trading runs in the first inning, the Senators jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the 3rd. The Gators chipped away to make it 5-3 in the bottom of the 3rd but the Senators struck back to go ahead 7-3. In the bottom of the 6th, the wheels fell off the Senator defense as 4 runs came around to score for the Gators. In the top of the 8th, Adam Simpson drove an RBI single to center field, before Zach Simpson shut it down in the bottom of the inning for his first win.

The Senator bats were awake early. Nine out of the ten hitters in the lineup contributed at least one hit and Chris Holland, Zach Simpson, and Chris Collyer each had a multiple hit game. Erhardt threw a no-hitter to pick up his 6th win of the season and improve to 6-2.

Two runs a piece in the 2nd and 3rd innings was enough for Jason Erhardt to pick up his 5th win of the season. Erhardt improves to 5-1 on the year with the complete game win. Mike Sjolin highlighted the offense, going 2-3 with a double and 2 RBIs. Chris Collyer picked up his first career CABL hit.

Christian Nashawaty picks up his first win of the season with a complete game shutout. He only gave up two hits and two walks while striking out ten.
The offense was paced by Cam Deegan who went 4-4 with 2 doubles, a triple, and 5 RBIs on the day. Zach Simpson was 2-3 with a home run and 3 RBIs. Chris Keenan and Jon Lawlor each contributed 2 hits as well.

The Senators get a much needed win as ace Jason Erhardt bounces back from a rough last outing to throw a complete game, giving up just 1 run. The bats were awake early and staked Erhardt to a 4 run lead through 3 innings. Both teams are back in action next Sunday as the Senators host the Black Sox and the Royals travel to Newton to take on the Dodgers.

The Boston Braves took home an 8-4 victory over Southeast Senators on Sunday.
The Braves fired up the offense in the first inning, when Aaron Jammal doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.
The Braves tallied three runs in the sixth inning. Their big inning was driven by doubles by Alex McKeown and Steve Mercadante.
Jammal was the winning pitcher for Boston Braves. He lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and four runs while striking out seven and walking one.
Erhardt took the loss for Southeast Senators. He went six innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits and striking out eight.
The Boston Braves tallied eight hits on the day. Jammal and Nick Valadario both collected multiple hits for the Boston Braves. They had two hits each.
The Southeast Senators totaled eight hits in the game. Holland and Deegan both had multiple hits for Southeast Senators.

The Royals came away with a 5-1 victory over the Southeast Senators last night in Dedham. Cormac Sullivan gave a stellar performance on the mound picking up his second win on the year (W, 6IP, 3H, 1R, 1ER, 2BB, 8K). With the game tied 1-1 in the bottom of the 5th, Scott Weber led off the inning with a single, and gave way to pinch runner Mark Vito. After Vito advanced to second on a passed ball, Bryan Weber drove in the go ahead run with a single to right field. And error by the Senators right fielder allowed Weber to advance all the way to third where he would score two pitches later on another passed ball. The Royals tacked on two more in the 6th taking advantage of a couple more errors by the Senators defense. Eddie Lockhart pitched a scoreless seventh inning securing the win for the Royals.

The Pirates bounced back in Game 2 of the doubleheader with a decisive victory. Tyler Jackson was the star, going 2-3 including a tall 2 run homer in the third inning. Jory Curran also chipped in with 3 hits including an RBI double, Nate Fishman went 2 for 4 with a double and Dillon Search Wells also pitched in from the 10-hole (power bottom) with 2 hits.

David Short settled down after a rough start on the mound for the win, while rookie Matt Lucia closed the door in the 5th,6th & 7th innings for the save - retiring 9 of 10 batters including 3 strikeouts.

The Senators took down a short-handed Marlins squad in the season opener. Jason Erhardt got his third consecutive opening day start and delivered 5 innings of 1 hit, shutout baseball, while striking out five. Jake Marchesseault and Mike Sjolin combined to pitch the last two innings to lock down the win.

The Marlins are back in action Thursday night as they take on the Rough Riders in Woburn, while the Senators are now off for two weeks for the Easter break.
