Pat Williamson then put TJO ahead with an HBP, and Sam Steeves made it a 2-run lead with a deep sacrifice fly to left center. After another HBP loaded the bases, Malcolm Nachmanoff provided the big hit with a bases-clearing double to left.

TJO starter Kevin MacIntyre kept the ADSL bats quiet for the next two innings, but they began to chip away in the 5th and 6th innings by capitalizing on 3 errors from the TJO infield to draw within 1. With 2 outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd in the 6th, MacIntyre induced a ground out to escape the inning with the lead still intact, and then threw a 1-2-3 7th inning to close out the game.

Boston Padres 0 0 4 0 0 0 0 4 5 2

ADSL earned their first win of the 2018 campaign with a come from behind victory over the first place Padres.

ADSL jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the third but gave it right back and more in the bottom of the inning, ignited by a two run opposite field homer off the bat of Wanderson Pinales. ADSL took back the lead for good in the sixth by scoring four runs with two outs in the frame. From there, Nick Kinsella shut the door on the powerful Padres lineup.

Offensively, ADSL was led by Matt McKinley (1-2, 3R), Kyle Bourdrias (3-5, 2R) and Ross Golebiewski (2-4). Jordan Aucoin pitched well in his BPL debut, giving ADSL four solid innings. Kinsella picked it up from there throwing three hitless innings to record his first victory of the season.

Final 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 R H E

Chasing a 3 run lead in the 4th, Cannon bounces back with a big 5 run inning with hits from Bavly Missiti, and Grimshaw.

ADSL comes back in the 7th with big hits from Boudrias and Riley (3-4 on the night) to tie it up. Cannon had an opportunity in the 7th but just couldn't push the run across.

For all those reading, the mound sucks at East Boston. There is a metal plate in the landing area and everyone is sliding off it when they throw. Someone will get hurt, whether it's a pitcher or hitter with a wild pitch. Just a warning to all.
