ADSL advances to the championship series, after trailing all night, the ADSL bats came alive in the bottom of the sixth capped off by an opposite field grand slam from Nick Herzog.

CJ Golbronson, Matt Hailey and Bobby Tramondozzi combined to pitch three scoreless innings in relief for ADSL.

The ADSL lineup put up 15 hits, led by Nick Herzog, Kyle Boudrias and Matt McKinley who each had three hits.

The Boston Park League playoffs kicked off with an exceptional pitchers dual between Fernando Burgos for ADSL and Will Levangie for Towne as runs were at premium in the opener.

Burgos went 6.2 innings striking out 10 while setting down 19 consecutive Towne batters during a period of the game. Levangie scattered 6 hits over 6 innings and picked up 5 strikeouts of his own.

ADSL was led offensively by Andrew Elliott who added two separate RBI singles. Eddie Riley also had two hits for the home team.

Towne made it very interesting in the 7th. After a two out error, they collected consecutive singles to push the game to 2-1. Bobby Tramondozzi relieved Burgos and was helped out by a game saving diving play by 2nd basemen Ryan McCormick to end the threat.

The series continues Monday at 8PM at Kelly Field.

Athletics walk it off in extras, behind the arm and bat of Bill Clang. Clang nabs the win in relief after a committee performance from Kirby, DeGiacomo, and Lambert, who all pitched two innings to aid in the win. Though there was some back and forth, the A's got it done at the plate, including a walk off hit from Nick Andrews to score Bill Clang, who led off the inning with a single.

The A's come out on top with Luke Lewando on the bump for his 3rd win of the season. Lewando went 4, giving up only 1 run. Rey then came in and shoved to finish off the game. On offense the A's steadily supplied enough run support for Luke, scoring in spurts and stringing hits together.

Kasey Kirby goes 5 and 2/3rds to help the A's cruise to victory. Dan Gaughan came in and got the final 4 outs in relief. The A's came out hot, scoring in the first 4 frames, and again in the 6th to cap off the team win.

Cannon outlasts a late surge by Towne to secure the win. Scanlon tosses a complete game for the victory.

Desai and Missiti get the scoring going with back to back extra base hits and Leung's sac fly gives Cannon a quick 3 run lead. Scanlon kept the bats in check all night and Towne got on the board in the 4th with a fielders choice.

Dwyer adds an important insurance run in the 6th for Cannon. In the 7th, Thurber leads off with a triple, then Jones ends up on third as well after a dropped ball down the RF line. With 2 outs, Cannon makes an error to allow the 3rd run to score, but Scanlon bears down and gets the last batter to pop out.

With the absence of many players, Towne Club prevailed with a score of 10-3 in 6 innings. Towne Club got a very good outing from pitcher, Mark Benson.

Towne Club got great offensive games from Connor Lee (3 hits, 1 run), Chris Hoyt (3 hits, 3 runs), Ryan Day (2 hits, 2 runs), and Matt Treveloni (2 hits, 2 runs, 2 RBI)

Greg Tobin picks up his 4th win of the year by shutting down the top offense in the league with 6 shutout innings. Tobin allowed just 4 hits while striking out 5 in the victory.

Alex Luscher (2-2, 1 Run) and Jamie Timothy (2-4, 1 RBI, 1 Run) each had multi-hit nights for TJO, while Sam Miller (1-2, 1 RBI) and Shane Lake (2 BB, 2 Runs) also chipped in to back Tobin's gem.

Grant Lamberton and Colby Joncas each had multi-hit nights for Towne in the losing effort.

Towne Club jumped out to a 4-0 lead after two. ADSL responded with 3 in the top of the 3rd but were matched with another 3 on the board for the Towne Club. ADSL got two back in the 4th then turned to their catcher Andrew Elliott who threw an inning of scoreless ball.

After trading runs in the 5th, ADSL entered the 7th trailing by two. With runners on first and second and down to their last strike, Ryan McCormick smacked a single to cut the deficit to one. Jared Blandino then crushed a single over the glove of the outstretched Towne shortstop to tie the game at 8. Bobby Tramondozzi came in for ADSL to send it to extras.

In the 8th, Nick Herzog led off with a double and despite missing a stop sign at third, scored on a Kyle Boudrias single. Up one going into the bottom of the half, ADSL cut down the potential tying run at home Blandino to McKinley to McCormick to secure their 16th straight victory.

Towne outlasts ME/GM in an offense-heavy showdown on Wednesday night. ME/GM took the lead early with a 5-run first inning, but, doing what they do best, the Towne bats came alive when faced with a deficit.

Treveloni and Emmertz led the charge offensively for Towne; Treveloni tallied 3 hits and 2 RBI, and Emmertz reached base 4 times while knocking in 4. Carbone and Dresser kept Towne in the game through 4 innings combined, and Pete Mansfield closed the door with a dominant final 2 innings.

After being shut down for the first 5 innings, Towne bats came alive in the 6th, as they scored 7 runs on 3 hits, including a Colby Joncas 3-run home run. Big Jim Perron also added a 2-RBI double in the inning.

On the pitching side, Mark Bentson scattered 5 hits and 4 runs over 4.2 innings, and Pete Mansfield closed out the game with 2 scoreless innings of relief. Towne's Colby Lewis, despite only throwing 3 pitches, picked up the win.

The top of Palmer's lineup was formidable, as Fordiani, Polanco and Foote all reached base multiple times and delivered timely hits.

Towne Club bats came out hot, and never cooled down. Lavangie throws 4 strong with 3 effective inning of relief by Lewis to keep GM/ME at bay.

Lee and Lamberton go long ball to ding dong city with Lamberton's falling deep on the concrete path and Lee's smoked down the left field line past a diving GM/ME left fielder.

Towne starting to pick up momentum as the mid-season point looms on the horizon.

An early explosion of offense by both teams turns into a mid-inning pitchers duel with both teams' bats quieting down until the bottom of the 6th when Towne's Lamberton drove in the tying runs. TC then managed to load the bases with 0 outs and their 3,4,5 hitters coming up, expecting to drive in go ahead runs. Instead, two strikeouts lead to Bowen's AB with 2 outs and bases still loaded, at which point both teams experienced the nearly never-seen late inning balk call for the go ahead run in TC's favor.

TC closer Peter Mansfield threw the 6th and 7th, stranding the tying run in the 7th on third to seal the victory.

Towne Club looked like they would be held in check by a shut down pitching performance for TJO by Greg Tobin, especially after gifting 3 runs to the visitors in the top of the 2nd. But, in the 5th, the veteran bats woke up and drove in 6 runs, with 4 XBHs in the inning, which secured the win for TC.

Cannon jumped out early with walks and quick hits by Bavly and Ferrai. But Towne answered right back with walks and hits by Milano and Emmertz.

Cannon responds again with 2 more on hits by Lee, Bavly, and Missiti. Towne ties it back up in the 4th with hits by Thurber and Milano again.

Bavly leads the 4th with his 3rd hit (4 on the night) and Missiti bombs a ball deep to right for a 2 run HR. Not done, Dwyer, Leung, Lee, and Neshe (3 hits)add hits and runs. Yet Towne answers again with their own 4 spot with hits and walks by Day and Hoyt. Finally, Cannon pulls ahead for good with 3 more in the bottom on big doubles by Ferrari and Leung(3 hits).

The A's came out of the gate swinging and posted a 3 spot in the top of the first, to give Cam Fiorentino a little cushion. Cam pitched well garnering his second win of the season to improve to 2-0. The A's struck again in the 4th, which would be enough to hold off the late surge by the Towne Club. Dan Gaughan picked up his 3rd 6-out save of the season.
